pop art
Humourous and surreal, Pop Art of the 1960s was a time for everyone to experiment with
color, patterns, texture, and silhouette. Inspired by the work of Roy Lichtenstein, this knitwear collection
uses the bold primary colors that have become synonymous with his work amongst clashing patterns
like polka dots reminiscent of retro printed comics and vertical stripes. This collection aims to breathe life
into the two dimensional artwork with three dimensional silhouettes, tricking the eye and
bringing the creations of Lichtenstein off of the page.
